As leaders, we ride ourselves on having the answers--yet, an overlooked skill is the ability to frame the right questions. Asking powerful strategic questions is a key leadership skill that helps teams and organizations respond strategically to a rapidly changing world.
Strategic questions focus us on what could be. They enable people to see new options and alternatives. They inspire movement. This workshop will provide an overview of strategic questioning and include hands-on practice in applying strategic questions to participants' current challenges. Facilitator Beth Tener, principal of New Directions Collaborative (www.ndcollaborative.com) has more than 20 years of experience as an organizational change/ sustainability consultant and specializes in helping people to collaborate across functions and organizations in pursuit of joint goals. Her work is informed by broad experience in the circumstances that lead to organizational change, systems thinking, and sustainability issues.
Each session is limited to 25 participants.
