Virtual Back to the Classroom: Behavioral Economics and Social Psychology with Alkistis Iliopoulou

Alkistis Iliopoulou is the Director of the Harvard Decision Science Lab. She is at the forefront of new behavioral research, working with top researchers across different schools and organizations. Her background is a weave of public and private sector work around the world, having run startups and advised a broad spectrum of organizations - from Toyota to the U.S. Department of Commerce. Alki holds an M.P.A. from Harvard Kennedy School, an M.B.A, and an M.S. (Marketing) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

In her talk for the Harvard Club of Merrimack Valley and the Harvard Kennedy Alumni Association of New England, she will share her thoughts about the field and her work at the Harvard Decision Science Lab, explaining how the field evolved, presenting some lab studies and real-world applications by the public and private sector. You will learn how to design a simple study and practice your learning in groups
